Alex Story World is designed to offer a warm reading experience while collecting as little information as possible.

What the site stores on your device
Reader age, interests, selected language and voice, favorites, and reading progress are stored locally in your browser. We use these settings only to personalize story recommendations and resume reading. We do not ask for or store a child's name; every story uses the fictional name Alex.
Payments and lifetime access
If an adult purchases lifetime access, PayPal processes the payment. Alex Story World receives and stores the PayPal order and capture identifiers, payment status, amount and currency, and the payer email and account identifier returned by PayPal. We use this information only to verify, provide, and restore paid access and to handle payment support. We do not receive full card or bank-account details.
Translation and narration
English story narration is delivered from prerecorded audio. When another language is selected, the fixed story page text and selected locale may be sent securely to OpenAI for translation. No child name, age, interests, reading history, payment details, or other personal profile is included in that request. Translations may be cached so families do not repeatedly generate the same translation.
No advertising or tracking
We do not display third-party advertising, use behavioral advertising, sell personal information, or use tracking technologies to follow children across websites. The site does not include third-party analytics.
Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the requested feature: PayPal for payments, OpenAI for optional story translation, and infrastructure providers for secure website hosting. We do not share information for advertising or data-broker purposes.
Children and parents
The service is intended for family use with adult supervision. Purchases and restoration should be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Because local reading preferences are not submitted to us, parents can remove them at any time by clearing this site's browser data.
